Sharon D. Wesselink, 61, of Springdale, Ark., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at Springdale Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sharon D. Wesselink was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Jay and Doris (Holmes) Mills. She married Roger Wesselink on Nov. 14, 1960, in Riverside, Calif.

She enjoyed sharing time with her family, especially spending time with her family boating on Beaver Lake in Springdale. She also loved to play cards with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Wesselink Sr.; a son and his wife, Roger Jr. and Michelle of Springdale; five grandchildren, Pierce Wesselink and his wife, Stephine of Springdale, Ark., Nathan Wesselink of Le Mars, Iowa, Jordan Duerksen and Adam Duerksen, both of Springdale, Ark. and Sean DeWolf of Sioux City; a brother and his wife, Jay and Vicky Mills Jr.; a niece, Kimberly Mills; a nephew, Jay Mills III; and her cousin and good friend, Diane Evans and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
