Margaret O. "Miggs" Moriston, 84, of Sioux City died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at her residence.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Merrill Muller of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Margaret was born Oct. 23, 1921, in Union County near Jefferson, S.D., the daughter of Dallas E. and Viola (Soulliere) Bradshaw.

She married Leo Sexton. The couple divorced. She married Wesley Moriston and they divorced.

She was employed at Sioux City Battery at one time. Later, she worked for Standard Brands and Zenith Corp. She was employed at Jolly Time Popcorn until retirement.

Margaret enjoyed dancing and making people happy. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Leo "Le Roy" Sexton and his wife, Nadine, of North Sioux City; a daughter, Linda Scott and her husband, Gerry, of Sedalia, Mo.; a son, Larry Moriston of Sioux City; two sisters, Welda Sexton and Violet Kruger and her husband, Myron, all of North Sioux City; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her special friend of 35 years, Marvin "Willy" Wilson of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bradshaw; a sister-in-law, Alice Bradshaw; a brother-in-law, Leonard Sexton; and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Sexton.

Casket bearers will be Scott Sexton, Brandon Sexton, Michael L. Sexton, Jeremy Moriston, Bruce Homer and Tommy Homer.
