Dorothy M. Miller, 77, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at Sunrise Retirement Community.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Marvin Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Miller was born June 17, 1928, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry L. and Nettie (Linn) Putnam. She grew up in Knoxville, Iowa and also resided in Oskaloosa, Iowa and Houston, Texas.

Survivors include three brothers, Burton Angus and his wife, Olivia of Niceville, Fla., Earl Angus of Silver Springs, Md., and Arthur Angus of Ankeny, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Leona Putnam.
