Priscilla Pitkin Gilbert, 79, of Webster Groves, Missouri, formerly of Anthon, Iowa, died Sunday, January 2, 2005.

Memorial service was held Saturday, January 8, 2:00 p.m. at Webster Hills United Methodist Church, 698 W. Lockwood Avenue, Webster Grove, Missouri, 63119 with arrangements by Gerber Chapel of Webster Groves, Missouri.

Pricilla was born on May 18, 1925 in Anthon, Iowa the daughter of Roy and Pauline (McBeath) Pitkin. She received a four-year college degree and entered the Navy Cadet nurse program.

Priscilla had a zest for life, with a drive and passion to experience all that it held. An amazing example of determination and fortitude, her presence will be missed by all she touched.

Ashe was a member of Webster Hills UMC, Missouri Chapter DAR, Chapter GC PEO and National Society of Magna Charta Dames. She was a Cadet Nurse in WWII, who held a deep love for her country, and proudly supported her family in the service.

Survivors include her husband; children Rick (Susan) Gilbert, Rev. Virginia (Jim) Wheeler; William (Janice) Gilbert M.D. and Rod (Zoei) Gilbert; eight grandchildren and many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Pitkin and Pauline McBeath Pitkin.
