Lenora B. “Terry” Deits, 81, of Sioux City died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Casa de Paz Care Center following a lengthy illness.

Memorial will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The body was cremated. Private family graveside services will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Deits was born April 28, 1923, in Shakopee, Minnesota, the daughter of Harold and Ethel (Hicks) Westfall. She grew up in Sioux City and attended school in Sioux City and Moville, Iowa.

She served with the U.S. WAVES during World War II.

She married Earl Deits on September 5, 1947, in Sioux City. She worked for several years at Aalfs Manufacturing.

She is survived by her husband, Earl of Sioux City and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
