Barbara A. (Crary) Hanselman, 61, of Angola, Ind., formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Memorial services were held April 1 at Lake Gage Congregational Church in Angola. The Rev. Steve Altman officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, Ind. Arrangements were under the direction of Feller Funeral Home in Waterloo, Ind.

Mrs. Hanselman was born Nov. 28, 1943, in Sioux City, to Robert J. and Beatrice L. (Munce) Crary. She attended Sioux City schools and graduated from East High School.

She married Keith L. Hanselman on May 26, 1968. He died June 1, 2003. She owned and operated the Gageview Orchard in Angola for the past 35 years.

She was a member of P.E.O., a Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, an active member of the Angola Community Theater and an active volunteer for Project Help in Angola. She had many interests and hobbies.

Survivors include two sisters and their husbands, Cynthia and George Rehan of Sioux City, and Susan and Gary Way of Ponca, Neb.; two nieces, Sara Rehan and Jennifer Way; two nephews, Adam Way and Jesse Way; a "son of the heart," John Price; and many caring friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
