Robert Beaty Brown, 62, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005.

Memorial services will be 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Benson Baptist Church in Omaha. He generously donated his body to Creighton University Medical School.

Bob was born Dec. 28, 1942, the son of Dr. James and Lois Brown. He graduated from Heelan High School with the class of 1961. He then moved to Omaha, where he managed Jerry's Bar, where he made countless friends.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy; a son and his wife, Mark and JoAnna; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; his siblings, Kay and Dick Young of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jim and Ann of Minnesota, Dick (his twin brother) and Patti of Sioux City; Bill and Jewell of Omaha, Connie Brown of Omaha and Thomas Tucker Brown of Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
