Vivian Joyce Colt, 77, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Riverside United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Janice Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Christy-Smith Berkemier Chapel.

Vivian was born Nov. 20, 1927, at Sivil Bend, S.D., the daughter of Cleveland and Louise (Derocher) Wynn. She was raised in Sivil Bend and attended Sioux Point Country School. She graduated from Sivil Bend High School.

She married Elmer "Mick" Colt on Aug. 23, 1945, in Sioux City. Together, they made their home in Sioux City and the surrounding area. They owned and operated Ted's Cafe and Ted's Lounge in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Elmer died in 1987.

She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching her soaps on television.

Survivors include nine children and spouses, Ted and Norma Colt of Sioux City, Karen and Vince McMahon of Sioux City, Terry and Marlene Colt of Sioux City, Wendy Colt and Jerry of McCook Lake, S.D., Deb and Milt Bristol of North Sioux City, Denise Powers and special friend, Bob of Sioux City, Kathy and Bill Poshard of Colfax, Ill., Ernie Colt and special friend, Ann Wheelock of Sioux City and Carrie Lynn Dunne of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two brothers and their wives, Bud and Amy Wynn of North Sioux City and Richard and Jean Wynn of Kingsley, Iowa; a sister, Inez Morrison of Sioux City; a special friend, Ann Wheelock of Sioux City; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Pamela; six grandchildren, Tim Colt, Ricky Keleher, Jerry Mount, Joshua Mount, Shelly McMahon and Kelly McMahon; and nine brothers and sisters.
