Zena Pearce, 91, of Branson, Mo., formerly of Sioux City and Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in Branson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church's Old Stone Church in Branson, with the Rev. Chris Williams officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Arrangements in Branson are under the direction of Snapp's Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, with the Rev. Bill Love of First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Mrs. Pearce was born Dec. 14, 1913, in Sioux City, the daughter of Henry and Effie Archip. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School in 1933.

She married Glenn Pearce on July 3, 1935, in Sioux City. She was employed with T.S. Martin in Sioux City. While Glenn served in the military during World War II, she returned to Sioux City from Paso Robles, Calif., and worked at the Sioux City Air Base. The couple moved from Sioux City to Houston, Texas, in 1956. They later moved to Branson in 1969. Mr. Pearce passed away March 2, 1986, in Branson.

She was a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Sioux City and Houston. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Branson, where she was active in the church circle. She was an amateur still life artist her younger years. In their younger years, the couple enjoyed ballroom dancing in Sioux City and surrounding communities.

Survivors include a daughter, Patty Pearce Wanned of Sioux City; a grandson, Howard Glenn Wanned of Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Toni St. Cyr and Vera Monroe, both of Sioux City; a brother, Walt Archip of Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Betty Archip of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Glenn; and a brother, Hank Archip.
