Phyllis Ann Hill, 70, of Palm Springs, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, in Palm Springs following a sudden illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul in the Desert Episcopal Church in Palm Springs.

She was a member of the Shrine Auxiliary, Palm Springs Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Palm Springs Air Museum, Palm Springs Republican Women and the Sioux City Humane Society.

Survivors include her husband, John L. Hill of Palm Springs; a daughter, Patricia Dickey of Sioux City; and two sons, Jerry Schmidt of Germantown, Md., and Richard Osgerby of Sheldon, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy.
