Josephine (Neukam) Kahn, 84, of Sioux City died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital.

Memorial services will be noon Monday at Congregation Beth Shalom, with Rabbi Guy Greene officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Mount Sinai Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Josephine was born Feb. 1, 1921, in Shoals, Ind., the daughter of Edward and Sophia (Meyer) Neukam. She attended Martin County, Ind., schools.

She was married to James Kahn, who died in October 2000. Josephine was owner/manager of Three Sisters Dress Shop in Sioux City.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brothers, Norman, Curtis, Luther and Louis Neukam.

Pallbearers will be Kay (Neukam) Barber, Donald, Robert, Bryan and Mark Neukam.
