Mrs. Gerhard Mesz died Tues.
Mrs. Gerhard Mesz, 61, rural Bronson, died Tuesday morning January 4 at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Mesz, the former Luella Miller, was born in Woodbury County on Nov. 18, 1910. She was married on Feb. 25, 1936. They farmed several places in the Bronson-Climbing Hill area. Mr. Mesz died on Oct. 30, 1965. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Lawton and was Sunday School teacher and superintendent there for several years.
Survivors include a son, Howard of rural Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. James (Helen) Fick of Ida Grove, Iowa; a brother, Clarence of Moville; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Zeglin and Mrs. Leslie (Sylvia) Engleking, both of Anthon and four grandchildren.
The W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside is in charge of arrangements.
