Plans Chadwick Rites for Friday

Funeral services will be held at Whitfield Methodist Church in Sioux City on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, for Mrs. L.W. Chadwick, 42, who died in a Sioux City hospital Monday afternoon, following a six months illness. Mrs. Chadwick had been convalescing at her home here, and seemed to be recovering nicely when a turn for the worse developed Sunday night and she returned to the hospital early Monday morning.

Survivors include the widower, and the Mother, Mrs. Luella Hall, both of Moville; a sister, Mrs. Robert Porter of Billings, Mont., and a brother, Charles Hall, of Ogden, Utah. Both of the latter were planning to be here for the service on Friday.

Mrs. Chadwick Burial Friday

Funeral services were held at Whitfield Methodist Church in Sioux City on Friday afternoon for Mrs. L.W. Chadwick, 42, who died in a Sioux City hospital on Monday afternoon, June 28, 1954. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

LuAida Hall was born February 19, 1912, at Lennox, S.D. She moved to Sioux City with her parents in 1919. She was graduated from Central High School in 1929 and from Morningside College in 1933. She was married to Lloyd W. Chadwick on September 6. 1938 at Beresford, S.D. The couple had made their home in the Moville vicinity since then.

Mrs. Chadwick was a member of Whitfield Methodist Church and of the women’s auxiliary of Gideon International.

Survivors are the widower, Lloyd, and the mother, Mrs. Luella Hall, both of Moville; one sister, Mrs. Robert Porter of Billins, Mont., and one brother, Charles Hall of Ogden, Utah.

Among those attending the funeral from this vicinity were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rawson, Lewis Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer J. Pedersen and son, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Pedersen, Mr. and Mrs. M.A. Everhart and Mrs. Robert Foster and daughter Ruth.
