Funeral services Held for Lloyd W. Chadwick

Lloyd W. Chadwick, 83, Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Moville and Sioux City, died Friday, March 30, 1984, in Littleton.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 1984 in the Christy Morningside Funeral Home in Sioux City. The Rev. Brian H. Chadwick, a great-great nephew, officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Mr. Chadwick was born December 24, 1900, in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School. He moved to Holyoke, Colorado in 1917 and to Sioux City in the early 1920s. He was a supervisor for Cities Service Oil Co. in the 1920s and later established a vacuum cleaner company. He married Luaida Hall September 6, 1938, in Sioux City. They farmed in the Moville area. She died in June 1954 in Sioux City.

He married Evalyn Johnson September 17, 1956, in Lexington, Kentucky. They farmed in the Moville area until 1973 when they retired and moved to Littleton.

Mr. Chadwick was a member of Billy Sunday Memorial Tabernacle and Gideons International.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Rogena Bassarear of California and four grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in his name with the Gideons International Memorial Bible Fund.
