Henry E. Cornils, 1912-1978

Henry E. Cornils, 66, Route 2, Sioux City, died suddenly Monday evening at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ralph Wallin will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

There will be a prayer service at 6 p.m. today at the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.

Mr. Cornils was born Oct. 20, 1912, near Climbing Hill, Iowa where he was reared.

He married Mildred Marie Kamm Jan. 8, 1938, in Sioux City. They made their home on a farm near Sioux City, retiring in 1977

He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Sioux City.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (LeAnn) Hurlbut of Le Mars, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Devine of Hornick, Iowa and two grandchildren.
