Reminiscing..Forty Years Ago, December 16, 1953

Henry Arnold, 67, a lifetime resident of Anthon, died suddenly of a heart attack about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Arnold was stricken while bring wood into the house and fell down near the porch of his home.

Henry Arnold, son of John and Mary Arnold, was born June 5, 1886, on a farm which is now part of the town of Anthon. At the time of his death he was the oldest living native of Anthon.
