Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Emil Bruns

Mrs. Emil Bruns, 93, of Denison, died Monday,
September 10, 1979, in a Denison hospital.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 1979, in the Zion Lutheran Church at Denison. The Rev. John Lutze officiated. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery under direction of the Huebner Funeral Home of Denison.

Mrs. Bruns, the former Anna S. Beermann, was born July 11, 1886, in Crawford County. She was reared on a family farm near Denison and attended rural school.

She was married December 2, 1914, in Denison. They farmed in Washington Township near Denison. Mr. Bruns died in 1975, at which time she moved to Denison.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Leora) Neumann of Denison, Mrs. Ray (Arlene) Ruberg of Moville; one son, Leonard of Bakersfield, California; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
