Mrs. Mary Loughlin Dies At Age of 96
Mother of Miss Mary Moughlin Nears Century Mark Before Demise Today

A near centenarian, Mrs. Mary Loughlin, 96 years old, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Mary Laughlin, 222 West Sixth Street. Death was due to an attack of pneumonia, combined with old age. Up to within a short time ago she was in the best of health. She had been making her home with her daughter for years, having come to Sioux City about eight years ago. She was born in Ireland and came to America in 1836. She first came to Iowa in 1853.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from St. Jean Baptiste Church. The body will be sent to Clermont, Iowa for interment.
