Frank Hagan Laid To Rest
Funeral Services Is Held At The Cathedral
Nephews Act Pallbearers
Burial Is in Mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery—Deceased Had Been Resident of City 40 Years—Long Time Proprietor of Hotel

Funeral services for Frank L. Hagan, 1718 Jackson Street, who died Friday morning of leakage of the heart, were held Tuesday morning at the Cathedral of the Epiphany. Rev. Gabriel Barry celebrated the funeral mass, assisted by Rev. Patrick Casey and Rev. Alphonse Bergener. Interment was in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Mr. Hagan’s nephews, Emmett Hagan, Ensley Hagan, George Hagan, Dave Hagan, Floyd Hagan, all of whom live in Sioux City. The honorary pallbearers were Charles Meyer, Ben Short, D.M. Neiswanger, J. W. Gray, William Ehlers, Frank Malloy, Dr. J.M. Lichty, James Kennedy, Charles Selzer, William Hogan, T.F. Griffin, Henry Manderscheld, L.S. Wernli and Fred Davis.

Mr. Hagan had lived in Sioux City for 40 years, coming here when he was 19 years old. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa July 17, 1863. For a number of years he was proprietor of a dray line, but later became proprietor of the Washington house, retaining his interest in it for more than 30 years.

Active in municipal and county politics, Mr. Hagan was democratic candidate for sheriff in 1916.

Six brothers and three sisters, as well as his widow, survive Mr. Hagan.
