Hornick, Iowa—Tracy Lee Cleveland, 47, of rural Hornick died at the Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Saturday April 1, 1989, after suddenly becoming ill at home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 1989 at the Rodney United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary De Geest will officiate. Burial will be in the Smithland Little Sioux Township Cemetery under direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney.
Mr. Cleveland, son of Franz and Mildred Ichhorn Cleveland, was born November, 1, 1941 in Rodney. He attended school in Rodney and Smithland. He married Janet Hagerdon at Smithland, November 5, 1961. He farmed until he retired due to ill health. He and his wife had lived in their present home 24 years.
He was a member of the Rodney United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Deanna) Peterson of Ashton, Iowa and Mrs. Matt (Marlo) Kelsheimer of Oto, Iowa, one son and daughter-in-law, Tony Cleveland and Kathy of LeMars and one granddaughter, Tiffany Cleveland of LeMars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Delane.
Pallbearers will be James Davis, Frosty Clark, James McDonald, Earl Johnston, Max Smith and Frank Carda.
