NORTH SIOUX CITY -- Beverly Ann Terrell, 72, of North Sioux City passed away Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at his residence.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Beverly was born Jan. 17, 1934, in Elk Point, S.D., to Elmer and Verna (Collins) Rosenbaum. She grew up and attended country school in the Elk Point area.

She married Harvey Terrell on Feb. 17, 1951, in South Sioux City. The couple lived their entire lives in the North Sioux City and Elk Point area. She was a school bus driver for North Sioux City, Jefferson and McCook Lake School District for some time, then became a homemaker and mother to her children.

She served on the election board for Union County, S.D. and for the city of North Sioux City. She loved being with her family and friends, traveling, camping and spending time on the river.

She is survived by her sons, Allen Terrell, Bryan Terrell and Cecil Schmitz and his wife, Monica, all of North Sioux City; eight grandchildren and spouses, Megan Surber, Nicolle and Tom Anderson, Letitia Terrell, Genesis and Bill Smutzler, all of Sioux City, Angela and Eric Odegaard of Spencer, Iowa, Tanya and Shawn Morsbach of Virginia, and Michelle Rose and Christina Schmitz, both of North Sioux City; nine great-grandchildren; four nephews; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey on Jan. 19, 1996; and a brother, Duane Rosenbaum.

Pallbearers will be Larry Cheney, Troy Rosenbaum, Shane Rosenbaum. Bill Smutzler, Randy Fredrickson and Rick Plueger.
