Elmer Danielson Died 1939

A former Sioux City resident, Elmer Danielson, 48, died Saturday in a Lincoln, Nebraska hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3:30 p.m. in the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home. Rev. A.P. Westerberg will officiate and burial in Floyd Cemetery will be directed by the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home. Members of Monahan Post, American Legion, will conduct military rites at the graveside.

A native of Sioux City, Mr. Danielson lived here until 1910 when he enlisted in the United States army. He served in the Philippine Islands eight years and later in the World War. He was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Paul Burke of Lincoln and Mrs. Hal Fitzgerald of Sioux City and two uncles, G.A. Danielson of Sioux City and Nels Danielson of San Francisco.
