Harry L. Sherrard Died 1939

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. John’s Catholic Church at Des Moines for Harry L. Sherrard, brother of two Sioux Cityans, E.C. Sherrard and Mrs. H.H. Bornholz. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery at Des Moines where Mr. Sherrard died Tuesday after an illness of pneumonia in a hospital for 10 days.

Harry L. Sherrard, about 40, was born on a farm in Woodbury County. He attended high school here and was married to Esther Reeves of Sioux City. They have three children, Mary Jane, Harry, Jr., and Leslie. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Sherrard of Sioux City, died in 1931.

He was connected with the Cudahy Packing Company and the Albertson company out of Dayton, Ohio.

Mr. Sherrard is survived by another sister, Mrs. Doris M. Coburn of Des Moines and a half- brother, C.F. Blumer of Hines, Minnesota.
