Mrs. Maude McDowell 1885 - 1939

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude McDowell, 53, will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the O’Toole-Gunn Funeral Home with Rev. O.A. Braskamp officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery.

Mrs. McDowell, who moved to Sioux City two years ago from Buffalo, Kentucky, died Tuesday night in the home of a sister, Mrs. Bette Ernst, 409 Sioux, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. McDowell was born August 29, 1885, at Buffalo.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ernst and Mrs. H. Johnson of Buffalo and three brothers, Arthur and Carter Thompson, both of Buffalo and Bryan Thompson of Danville, Illinois.
