Mrs. Emma Carlson 1861 - 1939

Mrs. Emma Carlson, 78, who had resided in Sioux City 48 years before moving to Newcastle, Nebraska, four years ago, died Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Koch of Newcastle. The body is in the O’Toole-Gunn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carlson was born February 23, 1861 in Sweden.

Survivors include the widower, Charles, one daughter, Mrs. Koch, two sons, William R. of Sioux City and Earl A. of Aberdeen, South Dakota and a brother in Sweden.

Mrs. Emma Carlson

Mrs. Emma Carlson, 78, who had resided in Sioux City 48 years before moving to Newcastle, Nebraska, four years ago, died Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Koch of Newcastle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the O’Toole-Gunn Chapel with Rev. W.W. Witt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Carlson was born February 23, 1861 in Sweden.
