Dennis C. O’Brien 1855 - 1939

Dennis C O’Brien, 84, died Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. E. J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Perasso Brothers Funeral Home.

The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. F.H. Brunson, a daughter with whom Mr. O’Brien had been living, at 3812 Stone, Monday morning.

Born March 31, 1855 in Auburn, New York, Mr. O’Brien had lived in Sioux City 20 years.

Surviving are the widow, Margaret, three daughters, besides Mrs. Brunson, Mrs. Helen Tagg and Mrs. A.B. Wells, Los Angeles, and Mrs. W.E. Engle, Sioux City and two sons, F.T., Sioux City and E.J., Waterloo, Iowa.
