Miles J. Barrett 1878 - 1939

Miles J. Barrett, 51, who had lived all his life on a farm north of Leeds, died Saturday afternoon in a Sioux City Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Cathedral of Epiphany. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Larkin’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Barrett was born on the farm February 27, 1878. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Leeds.

Surviving are his widow, Mary, a son, Ambrose, Sioux City, five daughters, Sister Mary Bertella, B.V.M., Mt. Carmel, Dubuque, Iowa and Mary, Elizabeth, Katherine and Delores, all at home.
