8 July 2005Norman Joseph Gabriel, 47, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, July 3, 2005, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.
Norman was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Sioux City, the son of Anthony and Lillian (Geisinger) Gabriel. He was disabled from an accident in the late 1970s, which left him partially paralyzed on his left side.
He enjoyed gardening and fishing with his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Gabriel of Sioux City; two sisters, Jean Noe of Arizona, and Pam and her husband, Orville "Skip" Hankins of Homer, Neb.; and three brothers and their wives, Lewis and Cathy Gabriel of Michigan, Richard and Deanna Gabriel of Sioux City and David and Chris Gabriel of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony; and a brother in infancy, Arnold.
