Delpha G. Wilkinson, 85, of Sioux City died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at her home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. August 15, 1998, in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, Iowa. There will be no visitation. The body was cremated. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born August 13, 1912, in Deerfield, Missouri, the daughter of Francis and Clara (Thomas) Hawley. She graduated from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. She married Byron L. Wilkinson October 17, 1936 in Sioux City. He died January 7, 1998 in Sioux City. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Stephen and Barbara of St. Peter, Minnesota, John and Gail of Hickory, North Carolina and Michael and Diane of Phoenix; a daughter, Ann Wilkinson of Seattle; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Hale and three sisters, Hazel, Helen and Dorothy.

Memorials may be directed to The United way or the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
