Miles Bradbury, 96, of Sioux City died Wednesday June 3, 1998 at a Sioux City Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morningside Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Roger D. Graf officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Christy Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home.

Mr. Bradbury was born September 19, 1901, in Denison, Iowa, the son of M.M. and Victoria J. (Winey) Bradbury. He moved to Sioux City in 1908 and graduated from Central High School. He married Hazel V. Closson, July 2, 1928, in Sioux City. From the 1920s to the mid-1940s, he worked as a watchmaker in local jewelry stores. He then opened his own shop, Bradbury Watch Repair, which he operated until his retirement in the late 1970s. She died October 9, 1981, in Sioux City. He was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Miles L. Bradbury, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a half brother.
