Sandra J. Detches, 65, of Sioux City died Thursday, July 7, 2005, in Sioux City.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gary Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Sandra was born June 26, 1940, to Neil "Bud" and Marie (Lentz) Breaman in Sioux City. She grew up and attended school in Sioux City.

On June 27, 1955, she married Arthur "Dan" Detches in Elk Point, S.D. She worked at Cooper's Market, Court House Cafeteria and Walgreens. Sandra loved to play bingo and go to garage sales, but her favorite and most rewarding job was being a mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Dan; 10 children, Dorrie Barker and spouse, Connie of Bullhead, Ariz., Jeanne Heilman and spouse, Tim of Sioux City, Daniel Detches and spouse, Kari of Bellevue, Neb., Barbara Hickson and spouse, Allen of Kansas City, Mo., Sandy Tran and spouse, Phong of Sioux City, Aaron Detches and fiancee, Debby McDonald of Indianapolis, Ind., Paula Kassing and spouse, John of Dakota City, Neb., John Detches and spouse, Tracy of Sioux City, Robert Detches and partner, Duane of Sioux City, and Quentin Detches and spouse, Shelly of Sioux City; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Johnson of Sioux City; four brothers, Johnny and spouse, Leona Breaman of Sioux City, Joe and spouse, Romayne Breaman of Irma, Wis., Jimmy and spouse, Connie Breaman of South Sioux City, and Jeffrey Breaman of Mayback, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Breaman.

Pallbearers will be Tom Johnson, Mike Johnson, Mike Weaver, Cruz Torres, Mike Tran and Andrew Hickson.
