Edna Marie Mahoney, 94, of Council Bluffs, formerly Sioux City, passed away March 23, 2018.
The funeral procession will leave at noon Monday from Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel in Council Bluffs for family graveside services at the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday at the funeral home.
Edna was born July 13, 1923, in Sioux City to the late Edward and Marie Oddy.
She was married to Addison W. “Mac” Mahoney for 34 years before his passing.
Edna is survived by son, Ken Sheridan of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Bill (Catherine) Sheridan, Michelle (David) Clemons, Becky (John) Rasmussen, Amanda Sheridan, Pat Sheridan Jr. and Tammy Sheridan; eight great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Steele; son, Pat Sheridan; daughter-in-law, Paulette Sheridan; sister, Gladys Heeren; and brothers, Louis and Ted Oddy.
