Teresa M. Hein, 70, of Sioux City, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. today at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 703 W. Fifth St., in Sioux City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family will be 12:30 p.m. until service time today at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Teresa was born on July 26, 1947, in Sioux City, the daughter of Vincent and Maxine Mc Mahon. She attended Bishop Heelan High School, graduating in 1965. The following year, she graduated from Stewart's School of Cosmetology. After teaching at the school, she went on to be a designer for Stewart Salons. Teresa later went to work for Belle Touche Salon, retiring in 2013.

On Oct. 26, 1968, she married Dale D. Hein. They settled in Sioux City, where they raised three boys. They were married for 47 years until Dale passed away in 2015.

Teresa was a devout Catholic and had a great love for Sister Joseph and the Carmelites. She loved spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren, who she adored.

Teresa is survived by her children, Dale Hein (Ron Kurtz) Alcester, S.D., Chad Hein (Beth) of Frisco, Texas, and Brett Hein of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Mitchell, Zachary, Brooke, Lizzy and Amanda of Frisco; one sister, Mary Beauchene (Ron) of Omaha; three brothers, Raymond McMahon (Patty) of Sioux City, Vince McMahon (Karen) of Sioux City, and Mike McMahon (Sally) of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and several aunts and uncles.
