Lola Mae Locascio 1921 - 1945

Mrs. Lola Mae Locascio, 23, 715 Court Street, died in a hospital Saturday morning following a brief illness. Her husband, PFC Philip Locascio, is stationed at the Sioux City air base.

Mrs. Locascio was born August 20, 1921, at Washta, Iowa. She was graduated from the Washta High School and came to Sioux City a year and a half ago.

Surviving besides the widower, are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Haburn; four sisters, Beth, Sharon, Joanne and Dianne and three brothers, Dean and Roger, all of Washta and PFC Mervin J. Haburn, stationed somewhere in Germany.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.mn. Monday in the Washta Federated Church. Burial will be in Battle Center Cemetery near Cushing, Iowa.

The body will remain at the Manning Funeral Home here until Monday noon.
