Mina Marie Johnson, 83, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, in Boca Raton.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, with the Rev. Tim Blanchard of Central Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City.

Mina was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Sioux City, the daughter of Roy C. and Hazel (Tilgner) Johnson. She attended Wheaton College in Illinois, the University of Iowa and Indiana University, where she received her PhD in business.

She was a teacher at Galesburg Senior High School in Illinois, Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., and for 23 years at San Francisco State University.

She is survived by numerous cousins and good friends.
