9 January 2000Hornick, Iowa-- Albert Lux, 81, of Arizona City, Arizona, formerly of Hornick, died Tuesday, January 4, 2000 in Arizona City.
Services were held Friday, January 7, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, Arizona. Entombment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Arizona. Arrangements were under the direction of Cole and Maud Mortuary in Casa Grande.
Mr. Lux was born April 2, 1918 in Shelby, Nebraska. He farmed for many years.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Arizona City Rock Club, Payson Rimstones, Sioux City Gem and Mineral Club and Manasota Gem and Mineral Club.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Lux, two daughters, Mary Ann Kates of Tempe, Arizona and Alberta Lux of Albuquerque, N.M, a brother, Marshall J. Lux of Valrico, Florida and four grandchildren.
