Nora Marie Kampmeyer, 79, of Sioux City died Friday, January 7, 2000 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Retirement Home with the Rev. Gerald A. Hartz, Chaplin, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at Holy Spirit Chapel. Larkin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Kampmeyer was born on January 16, 1920 in Sioux City, the daughter of Anthony and Kathryn (Hearley) Kampmeyer. She graduated from Cathedral High School. She was raised in Sioux City.

She lived in Miami Beach, Florida for 40 years. She moved to Salt Lake City around 1978 and lived there until moving to Tampa, Florida. She returned to Sioux City in 1995. While living in Miami Beach, she was employed in management for Burdines Department Store. She cared for her mother, who died in 1974.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic minister for the church. She was a volunteer for St. Francis Hospital in Miami Beach and for the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa. She was active in various church and community projects.

Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
