Funeral services for John Andrew Sheperd, 77, 1710 Virginia Street, a retired farmer who died Friday at a hospital, will be at 10 A.M. Monday at the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside. Rev. Oscar Rees, chaplain of Methodist hospital, will officiate and burial will be in the Climbing Hill Cemetery.

Nephews will be pallbearers.

Mr. Sheperd was born September 4, 1886 at Bronson. He married Mary Maylor of Climbing Hill January 22, 1913. She died several years ago. Mr. Sheperd retired from the farm in 1941 and came to Sioux City.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James Rabbitt of Lyons, Nebraska, a sister, Mrs. Grace Swanson of Sioux City and four grandchildren.
