Ralph O. Lundeen 1911 - 1983

Ralph O. Lundeen, 71, 2559 S. Palmetto Street, died Sunday in a Sioux City hospital of a sudden attack.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Morningside Church of Christ. The Rev. Philip J. Olsen will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery under the direction of the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.

Mr. Lundeen was born February 27, 1911 at Ticonic, Iowa.

He married Violet O. King, February 6, 1932 at Dakota City. They farmed in the Ticonic area for many years, moving to Sioux City in 1951. He worked at Armour & Co. until its closing. He was working at Williges at the time of his death.

Mr. Lundeen was a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife, one son, Gary of Sioux City, one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Lois) Schoenfeldt of Sioux City, one brother, Earl of Lake Park, Iowa, three sisters, Easter Ridgeway of Topeka, Kansas, Mrs. Rex (Paulyne) Cleveland of Loveland, Colo., and Opal Houtchines of Marcus, Iowa, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
