Mrs. Wilbur (Agnes) Davis, 61, 1423 Ruby St., a certified public secretary, died Monday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. The Rev. Omar W. Pettersen of Whitfield United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis, the former Agnes Flynn was born June 24, 1920, at Rodney, Iowa. She had lived in Sioux City for 45 years.

She married Mr. Davis June 4, 1950 at Reno, Nevada. He died February 10, 1967. She had been employed by Siouxland Credit Corp. for several years and recently by Beneficial Finance.

She was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church, Eagles Lodge in South Sioux City, International Secretary’s Association, Business and Professional Women and the Future Secretaries Association.

Survivors include a step-son, Jack E. Davis of Sioux City, two sisters, Dorothy Pritchard of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Helen Hartigan of Ute, Iowa, six step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
