Paul Alvin Daniels was born January 13, 1917 at Smithland, Iowa. He was the son of the late Walter and Mabel Chrestensen Daniels. He died on November 8, 1978 in Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho. He had reached the age of 61 years, 10 months and 26 days.

Funeral services were held on November 11, 1978 at the Moon Chapel in Sandpoint. Burial was in the Pinecrest Cemetery there.

Mr. Daniels was a veteran of World War II having served on Leyti.

He married Hazel Watts of Sandpoint on December 24, 1947.

He is survived by four sons Dennis, Danny and Kevin all of Sandpoint, Randy of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri and a daughter Mrs. Marie Waller-Scheidt of Seattle, Washington and four grandchildren, seven brothers, Charles of Onawa, Ralph of Whiting, Robert of Sioux City, Everett of Malott, Washington, Kenneth and Billy of Fort Ripley, Minnesota and John (now deceased) of Ida Grove, Iowa, five sisters, Mrs. John (Muriel) Graybill of Petaluma, California, Edith Mead and Mrs. Clark (Helen) Mead of Smithland, Mrs. Louis (Jeanne) Allord of Fort Ripley, Minnesota and Mrs. Loyal (Phyllis) McLarty of Smithland.
