3 January 2000Jesse E. Knopf, 27, of Sioux City died Thursday, December 30, 1999 at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Robert J. Schimmer of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Knopf was born June 16, 1972, in Sioux City. He graduated from North High School in 1992. He was employed with the City of Sioux City.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Knopf of Sioux City; three sisters, Kathleen and her husband, Bob Campbell of Norfolk, Virginia, Sandra Knopf-Fleming of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Marian Knopf of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Knopf and material grandparents, Carl and Anna Perez.
Pallbearers will be Emery and Bruce Hines, Paul Felicia, Ray Lewis, Wayne Street and Jeff Weber.
