Christina L. Eye, 31, of Sioux City died Wednesday, January 19, 2000 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of the Nativity, with the Rev. Gerald Feierfeil officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 8:30 p.m. today with a parish vigil service at 3 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Paul Louis-Arts, at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Miss Eye was born March 27, 1968 in Sioux City, the daughter of Dale Carl and Clara A. (Shockey) Eye. She graduated from Riverside High School.

She had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix, Iowa for many years. At her death, she belonged to the Church of the Nativity in Sioux City.

She participated in Special Olympics for several years.

Survivors include her mother of Sioux City; five sisters; Debra Eye of Yankton, S.D., Jacquelyn and her husband, Ricky Miller of Sioux City, Lesa, Michelle and Donna Eye, all of Sioux City; two special friends; Holly Smith and Johnny Gates, seven nieces/nephews; Dale Clark Eye II, Lori Bakker, Amanda Reinbold, Alexander Eye, Charlie Vasquez and Nichole and Victoria Miller.

She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Jeanna Marie and twin nieces, Patricia and Vanessa.

Pallbearers will be Dale Clark Eye II, Rick Miller, John Swift, Angelo James, John Boyd, Pedro Brenes and Tim Worrell.
