Dolores R. O’Keefe, 86, of Sioux City, died Friday, January 21, 2000, at Sterling House.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sty. Michael’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Lawrence McCarty officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. O’Keefe was born April 21, 1913 in Altoona, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur E. and Zeta (Roe) Nolle. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Altoona and from Samuelson’s School of Cosmetology.

She married James J. O’Keefe on May 30, 1933 in Altoona. He died on May 24, 1985 in Sioux City.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Policemen’s Auxiliary.

She had been a Sioux City resident for 66 years. Survivors include three daughters; Colleen Conley of Sioux City, Judy Huot and her husband, Roger of Salix, Iowa and Sharon Harrison and her husband, Wayne of Sioux Falls; a son and his wife, Dennis and Janet of St. Cloud, Minnesota; 15 grandchildren; Luanne Conley-Flikkema, James and Ed Conley, David, Tom and Mark Huot, Diane Meehl, Bob and Mike Harrison, Julie Linsenmeyer, Lori Seibold, Kelly Nashleanas, Katie Altenberg and James and Shawn O’Keefe.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Conley and a son-in-law, Edwin T. Conley.

Pallbearers will be Mike and Bob Harrison, Mark, Tom and David Huot, Ed and Jim Conley and Jim and Shawn O’Keefe.
