Frances S. Persinger, 77, of Arlington, Washington, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, January 24, 2000 in Everett, Washington.

There will be a rosary service at 7 p.m. Friday at Weller Funeral Home in Arlington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Immaculate Conception Church in Arlington.

Mrs. Persinger was born April 17, 1922 in South Sioux City, the daughter of Louis and Daisy Waechter.

She married Jim Persinger almost 61 years ago. The couple made their home in Sioux City and Santa Ana, California. They moved to Arlington in 1983, following their retirement.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Kathy Harrington of Hacienda Heights, California, Carol Duthoy of Brea, California and Joan Persinger of Aberdeen, Washington; five sons, Jim of Santa Ana, Tony of Edmonds, Washington, David of Chino Hills, California, Steven of Arlington and Brian of Long Beach, California; 11 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two brothers, Robert Waechter of Salem, Oregon and Thomas Waechter of Newport, Washington.
