Sheryl Lynn Manchester, 58, of Sioux City, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 5, 2017.

There will be a luncheon for family and friends from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday at McCook Lake Izaak Walton League, 215 Suncoast Dr., in North Sioux City. Burial at a later date.

Sheryl was born on Aug. 3, 1959, to Lois and Ray Sanders of North Sioux City. She graduated in 1976 from South Sioux High School. Sheryl married Dennis Manchester Sr. and together they had two sons, Dennis Jr. of Sioux Falls, S.D., and David Manchester of Omaha.

She loved to play bingo, be with her grandchildren, and go shopping. We enjoyed her good sense of humor. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She was of the Catholic faith.

Sheryl leaves behind her parents, Raymond and Lois Sanders; brothers, Raymond Jr. "Mike" (Debbie) Sanders, Brian Sanders (Copper Cole), Keith Sanders and Patrick Sanders; a sister, Jill (Chad) Johns; grandchildren, Alexis, Baili, and Cobi of Council Bluffs, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Gladys White and Elmer and Mary Sanders; and her favorite uncle, Ralph "Sam" White Jr.
