Stuart Allen "Ossie" Osborn, 75, of Sioux City died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, in Sioux City.

Private graveside services were held. Arrangements were under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Ossie was best remembered in his early years as a race car ace, racing modifieds locally through out the Midwest. He was known in his career for his years of dedication to his customers operating his automotive garage, Ossie's Pearl Street Garage, located in Sioux City for more than 50 years. In the Okoboji, Iowa area, he will always be remembered for his avid muskie fishing.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Mark Allen and Lynn Marie Osborn, their daughters, Melinda Ray Osborn, 28, and Mary Louise Osborn, 25, and their son, Justin Allen Osborn, 24; a son, Todd Stuart Osborn and his sons, Ian Stuart Osborn, 10, Jack Riley Osborn, 5, and Patrick Jacob Osborn, 22-months; and three great-grandchildren.
