Frances M. Coyne, 87, Casa De Paz Nursing Home, died Monday, October 21, 1996 at the nursing home after a long illness.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Graceland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Girres, pastor of the Cathedral of the Epiphany, officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with a Scriptural wake service at 6:30 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Coyne was born April 15, 1909 in Lake Geneva, Wis., the daughter of Claude and May (Kidson) Hoeg. She was raised in the Maurice and Ireton, Iowa area and had been a longtime Sioux City resident.

She married Ray Martin. He died in 1939. She married Neal Coyne in Sioux City. He died in 1969.

During World War II, she had several factory jobs in Sioux City. She most recently had been employed at Sunrise Retirement Home until her retirement in 1974.

Mrs. Coyne was a former member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany.

Survivors include a niece, Lavonne Ahrens of Wahoo, Nebraska, two great-nieces; two great-nephews; 12 great-great-nieces and nephews, all of Nebraska and a cousin, Leona Wesley of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
