Minnie Rafanelli, 90, Sioux City died Saturday, October 26, 1996 at Indian Hills Care Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Larkin Northside Funeral Home, 2320 Outer Drive N., with Clifford Mehrer, elder of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rafanelli was born October 22, 1906 in Herrick, S.D., the daughter of William and Mary (Schweight) Schonebaum. She had lived in Sioux City for many years, prior to leaving for awhile and returned 20 years ago. She had worked at Zenith Corp. in Sioux City.

Mrs. Rafanelli was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Betty and William Ferguson of Sioux City and Charlotte and Wallace Butler of Sioux City; four grandsons, Robert, William B and Stephen Ferguson and Dennis Butler; six great-grandchildren and a brother, Albert Schonebaum of Florida.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lafayette Lane and Gino Rafanelli; three sisters and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Robert, William B and Stephen Ferguson and Dennis Butler.
