Margaret A. Post, 71, of Wolbach, formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, May 20, 2017, at her home near Wolbach.

Graveside services were held on May 25 in Hillside Cemetery, North Loup Neb., where the Rev. Toni Nolze officiated. Arrangements are under the direction of Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul, Neb. Condolences for Margaret’s family may be left at www.jacobsengreenway.com.

Margaret was born on March 28, 1946, in Lennox, Calif., to Paul W. and Dorothy K. (Wetzel) Palser. She first attended school in Sedgwick, Colo., and then was raised in the Ord, Neb. area where she attended school and graduated from Ord High School. Margaret attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After her schooling, she worked for the Dairy Council in the Sioux City area. She then worked for the Community Action Agency and J.C. Penney's in Sioux City.

She was united in marriage to Mike Post. The family moved to Ord before moving to her father's farm west of Wolbach in 1999, where she had lived since.

Margaret enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and living in the country. She also liked to remodel houses. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Quintin Post of Wolbach, and Thomas and Amy Post of Des Moines; and four grandchildren, Alexandra, Thaddius, Xaiver, and Katie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Dennis and Steven Palser.
